  1. ONLINE REGISTRATION CUT OFF DATE: Tuesday, Sept. 29th at 8:00pm or sooner if capacity reached. Register Early!

  2. Please double check for: Spelling errors, gender, belt, weight, and age

    *Simple errors will be fixed by hand on the day of the tournament.

  3. If you happen to miss the registration date, please send us an email or call our offices and we will try our best to accommodate.

  4. Tournament will have a cutoff system for the first 1200 competitors only.

  5. Arrive early to find proper parking in the structure and seats!

  6. Absolutely no refunds once registration has been submitted for any reason.

Weigh-in: Required for World Class Sparring Daedo competitors only. Weigh In will occur the day prior to the tournament via designated weigh-in stations. Competitors must supply their own GEN II socks for World Class Sparring.

Coach Passes: One free coach pass will be given for every 10 students from each school. A maximum of 4 coach passes per school, even If purchased. Only qualified Masters and Instructors may receive a coach’s pass. Non-officials will be revoked of credentials. Register online for your credentials!

Awards: Medals for 1st  2nd & two 3rd place

Required Protective Equipment - Mandatory:

WT approved white dobok is required for competition (Sparring and/or Poomsae)

All sparring practitioners must bring their own

  • Head Protector, blue, red or white. If using blue or red, it must match the Hogu color; in good repair; NO cracks or tape.

  • Chest projector (Grass Roots) - Properly fitting

  • Groin protector REQUIRED for male & female, groin protectors must be worn inside the uniform.

  • Mouth Guard - White or Clear

    • Contestants with upper and lower dental braces must use one of the following:

      • Double (top & bottom) mouthguard for braces.

      • Upper mouthguard + lower mouthguard for braces (must cover at least 6 teeth on the top and 4 teeth on the bottom).

      • Upper mouthguard + lower brace shield.

  • Forearm Protector.

  • Shin and Instep Protectors.

  • WT-Approved Gloves (required for World Class divisions, optional for others) white.

Poomsae

Traditional Forms/Individual Sport Poomsae/Pairs

  • Traditional Poomsae competition for color and black belts will be offered.

  • Sports Poomsae (Individual/Pairs) events will be for Black Belts ages 12+ only. Please see packet for more information on Sport vs Traditional

  • Sport Poomsae and World Class Sparring cannot be combined due to schedule conflict

  • All Poomsae events for all ages will begin at 8:00am.

Kyoroogi (Sparring)

Color Belts/Black Belts/World Class

World Class Black Belts- GEN II Daedo (E-Socks required)

  • Weigh ins required for World Class Division on Friday, Oct.31st. Weigh in stations will be announced at participating schools prior to the tournament date.

  • Juniors and Senior Division are set to begin at 8:00am. Cadets will begin at 1:00pm

  • E headgears will be administered. (Bring your own headgear just in case!)

  • Brackets may be combined in the event of small brackets and/or same schools

  • Only 1 World Class event allowed due to schedule conflicts:

    Sport Poomsae or World Class Sparring

Grassroots Color Belt/Black Belt

  • Kyoroogi is set to begin at the conclusion of Poomsae competition, starting with ages 9 and younger. Ages 10+ set to begin after the lunch break.

Spectator Information

  1. Admission costs will be $25 and free for children 4 and younger. Parking will also be $25 to park in the ACC structure. Cash Recommended

  2. In the event you or your child does not have a competitor, an exhibition match will be given on the day of the tournament. Same school may be a possibility.

  3. Host hotel will be at the Anaheim Hilton. Limited rooms available. More information on our website. Book now!

  4. Please arrive early! Find parking, seats and have an adequate warm up prior to competition.

  5. Please expect delays. We will do our best to keep the tournament on time!
